The first part of the restoration was to gut the car entirely. I would say 95% of the
parts taken out of the car were thrown away as they were not salvagable or restorable.
Once the car was gutted the process of replacing the parts fell in my lap and to find
these parts I must tell you was not easy at all. The longest process of restoring the vehicle really was finding the correct
parts to fit the car and the body style and body code.
I purchased parts from all over the country including California, Minnesota, Indiana
and Tennessee.
Once I started the search for parts, Barney started the work on putting the car back
together and the restoration process itself.
